Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
We are currently seeking a qualified and passionate School Psychologist for a onsite position with a supportive school district near Chesapeake, Virginia for the 20252026 school year. This opportunity offers the chance to work directly with K12 students, helping to support their academic, behavioral, and emotional success.
Position Overview
Responsibilities

Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments

Participate in IEP meetings and eligibility determinations

Provide individual and group counseling as needed

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success

Assist in crisis intervention and behavior management planning
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
Candidate Requirements

Valid State of Virginia School Psychologist Licensure
-
Active Virginia DOE Certification
-
Previous experience in a K12 setting preferred

Strong knowledge of IDEA, IEP process, and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)
